Dedicated to the Blood of my Blood that followed the Drinking Gourd.
I give thanks to Ferrette House for this offering of space and place, allowing me to create & simply BE. I urge you to donate/share with those that can, further allowing other budding & emerging artists like myself to have a safe space to rest, create, & transform. I also give thanks to my Ancestors, their Ancient technologies and the materials that lead this deeply intuitive work. Gratitude to my Mother for being a keeper of the flame, sharing many of these heirlooms with me for this project. All praise to the Cosmos and the Rememory sparked in the process.

-Written letters - a call & response between the dead & the living
-Mommas Journal entry -written petitions during dark times
-Skeleton Key - the ultimate road opener
-Census Records - the blatant erasure of our indigenous/aboriginal roots through reclassification
Written confirmation from President Jimmy Carter of our familial “kinship” by the way of his ancestors unlawful ownership & rape of my ancestors.
-Slave Inventory List including my ancestors & their monetary value
-9 of Diamonds, Ace of Hearts, 6 of Hearts - An incantation for road opening, love, wealth, & protection through the use of ancient Hoodoo divination, Cartomancy.
This work is incomplete, still in progress, like the cypher we call life… always continuing.
